Golden State eReaders offers this hard to find Amazon Kindle DXG eReader , model D00801, 2nd generation, Graphite color.  This 2nd gen is a keyboard version, appreciated by many over the touch screen. It has the following features: 4 GB memory, a huge 9.7" screen, a standard keyboard, and a standard USB Android charging port.  Additionally the tablet is bundled with a sharp black leatherette protective case and a floral internal protective cover. Important Note: various early Kindles, including this model, no longer register with Amazon or download books directly.  Rather you select and purchase books from your Amazon account on your computer.  Then you download them from your computer and send them to your Kindle. You can also download old books from your Kindle archive. This model used 3G wireless connectivity, not Wi-Fi.  The companies have shut down those networks, so there is no longer the ability to connect to Amazon to register or download books.  However the tablet is still an excellent stand-alone tablet and can be updated with new books as described above. Keep the  "Wireless" turned off to keep the unit from wasting the battery looking for a non-existant service.
