Asus Chromebook C423NA-BCLN5 14" HD 1.1GHz Celeron N3350 4GB RAM 32GB

This is a partially working, used dark gray Asus Chromebook C423NA-BCLN5 14" (Matte Anti-glare 1366 x 768 HD resolution non- touchscreen) 2020 1.1GHz Intel Celeron N3350 laptop.  It has 4GB of RAM (built-in memory) and a 32GB eMMC drive .  It has Chrome OS installed and is reset for the next user .  This model still will run and support the latest Chrome OS versions.  It is on version 115 currently. It has the shared Intel HD 500 graphics. The casing has some scratches.  The rear left corner is chipped.   This is the issue...when the battery was connected, the laptop wouldn't power on.  It seems to power on okay with only the power adapter connected.  Sometimes, you can hear a faint buzz from the motherboard.  We think there is a power management issue with the motherboard.  It is sold as-is and we are unsure how long it will work this way.  We are leaving the battery disconnected inside. The keyboard and trackpad both work great.  The screen is in perfect condition!  The hinges are tight still. The battery could be good but we are unsure.  The original power adapter is included.
